75g BTHP .223 Rem.

Shot this ammo today and didn't quite get the grouping I was hoping for. This was shot in a Sig Sauer M400 16" barrel with a 1:7 twist. Measured velocities out of my weapon and got an average of 2443 fps with a min of 2406 and max of 2487 giving a spread of 87 and a SDEV of 27.33. My weapon was zero'd for 100 yards. Weapon was shooting of a bipod and bags at the rear. Not sure how much the groups produced were induced by me because it was a cold damp day. I also shot some 55 gr 223 and the groups were bigger than the Boaz groups. I plan on shooting this ammo again and compare it with Boaz 55 gr ammo using a Real Avid sled to steady the weapon. Can't say my 4 stars are fair due to today's condition might have made more shooter's error than ammo. Did not have any issues with this ammo running in my weapon.

After doing some testing this weekend with a 14.5’ Colt barreled M4 clone I was able to achieve consistent 1 to sub 1 MOA 10 shot groups. I have no doubts this round will perform even better when paired with a nicer barrel and a better shooter. Buy with confidence this is an excellent round for anyone looking for a heavier 5.56 loading.
