BOAZ Ammo hopes to not only provide you with the best quality with top customer service at the most affordable pricing. Instead of offsetting our prices to cover "free shipping", we transparently keep our prices low by offering specific configurations to maintain "real cost" shipping for our customers.
Schedule Curbside Pickup - Local Pickup is the free option. You can schedule to pickup during our available pickup hours. This option is not eligible if you are needing your order shipped.

Insured Shipping Policy
Our orders all ship insured so they are eligible for claims assistance in the event of loss or damage which has become a more frequent occurrance in the past month. Below is a chart that helps you maximize the shipping by boxes vs bags.
Budget buying can signficantly change your cost per round vs buying 1 bag that meets the minimum shipping requirements and base costs.
- We will work with the carrier to resolve insured claims as applicable.
- Report any damaged or missing shipment immediately upon discovery, after delivery or expected delivery.
- Photos of damage are required for received claims.
- For missing shipments, be sure to check Tracking notes because they usually specify reference to any alternate location the items may have been placed or show photos in delivery details.
UPS procedure to process a claim. Once the packages leave our location they are in possession of UPS and like you, we are at the mercy of UPS schedules and proceedures.
- UPS instructs us as the Shipper to request a tracer in claims on our Carrier Dashboard.
- UPS takes the liberty of up to 8-10 business days to trace a package unless they determine more time is needed.
- We will upload documents upon notification to speed up any potential claims process.
- IF UPS can't locate your package after the tracer request and closes the claim, a carrier liability claim needs to be filed. We will work with UPS during review to finalize the claim.
- We are not responsible for the result of the third-party decision on any claim.

Our Fixed Shipping is a combination box fitting and weight based quotes for insured GROUND shipping. We have strategically configured our shipping to get our customers the most affordable rates while protecting your purchase. You can add the items to your cart and adjust quantities to maximize your shipping quote on the checkout page.
How Fast does it ship?
Stock inventory will be prepared for shipment in most cases within 2 business days, unless otherwise noted on the product pages. Exceptions to this would be when preorder is activated or on any special order items. Shipping info/tracking numbers will be notified by email to the address provided on your account. You can also log in to your account and see any notifications or updates about tracking your shipment. We are required to ship ammunition via ground Limited Quantity.
SEASONAL WAITLIST NOTICE:
Pre-order status may be temporarily enabled to allow customers to join a waitlist for items that are currently out of stock due to seasonal demand.
What carriers do you use?
Unfortunately, ammunition shipments are more complicated than your ordinary shipment. Ammunition is considered "dangerous goods" and is only handled by certain carriers with restrictions. UPS is our exclusive carrier and we are required to ship using UPS Ground marked with the Hazardous Materials Label for Limited Quantity. Limited Quantity items must be shipped through a Pickup Service or a UPS Customer Center (not The UPS Store or just any dropoff facility). We are subscribed to the Route Pickup Service where the driver picks up along his daily route. We have requested a preferred pickup time however we have no control of the pickup time which averages between 10-11am EST most business days. We do our best to get orders placed before 9am prepared and ready to go out same day whenever possible. If orders are after 9am, it will most likely be picked up next business day. We try to keep your order notes updated, so when you are logged in you can view these notes.
Tracking
You will get notification of your tracking number(s) upon shipment preparation from UPS and probably an update from our website. Tracking begins at the time of possession of the packages at the UPS Customer Center, not by the possession of the driver. Tracking information will available in your online account with your order information. If for some reason you don't find it there, please reach out to us. Tracking is typically first available the close of business on the pickup date or the next day. It may also result in the appearance that packages have not been picked up or shipped which is not necessarily the case.
TRAVELING TO A COMPETITION?
We offer complimentary dropship direct to matches when requested according to state laws to accomodate convience and avoid TSA issues when flying. We can customize the labels according to any information required by the match director or range. Those requirements can be emailed to orders@boazammo.com or noted in the order notes. It is recommended to ship packages at least 3 weeks prior to a match to verify safe delivery. Once the shipment leaves our facility we are not responsible for lost/damaged packages or costs incurred in travel. Please verify prior to your departure that the package arrived and you know where to retrieve it. In order to ship direct to a match/range be sure to add the address provided as an additional shipping address on your account marked DIRECT MATCH SHIP.

State Required Account Setup and Verification: For applicable states, first time customers must send a photo of their valid photo ID and state required information to complete the setup of their account. Use orders@boazammo.com. This ID needs to meet requirements as “clear evidence of the person’s identity and age” meaning either of the following: (a) A valid state driver’s license. (b) A valid state photo identification card issued by the Department of Motor Vehicles. Each time you purchase you may be required to ENTER the Date of Birth in the Age Verification Field in your order screen. See Also STATE RESTRICTIONS.

Stock inventory will be prepared for shipment within 24 hours-2 business days unless otherwise notified. Shipping info/tracking numbers will be provided to the email address provided on your account. IF you select local pickup, please contact us ahead of time IF you need it SAME DAY to make sure we have schedule availability.
Pursuant to USPS regulations prohibiting the shipment of ammunition, we are unable to ship orders to P.O. Box addresses.
