SHIPPING POLICY

BOAZ Ammo hopes to not only provide you with the best quality, most affordable pricing with top customer service.

Since we are not a brick and mortar store front, we do offer the option to schedule a curbside pickup for our local customers. IF you select local pickup, you can schedule from available times on our website in most cases same day pickup may be available.

Unfortunately, ammunition shipments are more complicated than your ordinary shipment. Before ordering ammunition online, consider the laws that apply in your state and fill out any required information in your account. For example, ammunition is considered "dangerous goods" and is only handled by certain carriers with restrictions.  There are several factors you must consider: Federal and state law, Carrier policy and Receiving licensee policy (if applicable). 

Stock inventory will be prepared for shipment in most cases within 2 - 24 hours , unless otherwise announced on the website as in cases of preorder items. Shipping info/tracking numbers will be notified by email to the address provided on your account. You can also log in to your account and see any notifications about your shipment.

We exclusively use UPS Ground for shipping marked with the Hazardous Materials Label for Limited Quantity. This means ammunition must be shipped through a Pickup Service or a UPS Customer Center (counters at UPS operational facilities). We preferred the former option which is no longer available to drop off at the Center because we hoped now permanently closed. When we dropped off the items, they were scanned immediately for the customer's tracking convenience. We have found if we use the Pickup Service or handoff to a driver they do not scan the package immediately and are based on the driver's route and schedule, resulting in shipping delays.

see Returns and Refunds Policy.  In the event of any RMA return, the box must return in the same manner, it is required to with a limited quantity sticker, please contact us before preparing shipment.

 

We offer and recommend purchasing shipping insurance on items over $100, it may not be included in basic shipping quotes, feel free to contact us if an additional quote is needed. IF there are special delivery instructions it is your responsibility to add notes to your order in the comments or ship to address. If there are minors residing at your address, please indicate if any restrictions need to be placed on the signature requiring 21+ signature.

  • BEFORE PLACING ANY ORDER WITH BOAZ PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO DOUBLE-CHECK YOUR STATE/LOCAL LAWS. When there are no State restrictions all Federal Restrictions apply. Customers Purchasing Ammunition or Firearm products in the following States, Alaska, California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Massachusetts, New Jersey or New York. WHY DID OUR SHIPPING POLICY CHANGE?

As we began our business, we chose to take our shipments to the local drop off center because we learned quickly that with pickups drivers were irregular and not allowed to scan our boxes which could result in days of delay in tracking. If drivers were running late, shipments wouldn't even ship out the same day and we were tracking packages thinking they were lost.

 

Sadly, today we are forced by UPS to announce that in NOV 2024 with no warning, UPS made the decision to permanently close the local service center where we could drop off limited quantity boxes. We apologize this forces us to abruptly change our shipping policy. Unless your order is placed before 10am (M-F) we can no longer ship same day guaranteed, and even then we are limited to the convenience of availability of the driver in our area. In most cases, this will put us at a day's delay going shipping through their pickup process. Orders will likely be picked up next business day and may NOT be scanned for tracking until late that night or the next day. We greatly apologize for any inconvenience but we want to be transparent you may notice delays but the change was out of our control. 

REPORT A MISSING SHIPMENT

So far we haven't experienced any lost packages but, we have had some different delivery details to help resolve. This is the UPS procedure to process a claim. Upon determination of searching for a package that shows delivered notify us as soon as possible. UPS instructs us as Shipper we must request a tracer in claims on our Carrier dashboard. UPS allows up to 8 business days to trace a package. IF UPS can't locate your package after the tracer request and closes the claim, we can file a carrier liability claim through the InsureShield Claims Portal. Packages are insured up to $100 default. We will work with the sender to review and finalize the claim.
