Introducing BOAZ

Welcome to BOAZ Ammo! We're an online ammo store.

The owner of BOAZ, Chris has 17 years of tactical experience and training through security. He began competitive shooting over 6 years prior to the launch of BOAZ. Where reloading simply complemented the sport so he decide to invest in a manual reloading press. In January 2023, a friend suggested taking the hobby to the next level leading into a long conversation that just made sense. Several confirmations throughout the next week launched and produced and what is now known as BOAZ, of BOAZ Ammunition LLC. BOAZ sought and acquired an FFL for reloading, manufacturing new ammunition, and direct selling ammunition with the future potential of selling firearms.

Locally owned out of the one of the most historical and smallest towns in the US, Watauga, TN. BOAZ products are manufactured with competitive match quality and performance in mind, while maintaining the integrity for tactical use. We utilize quality components like double-base spherical handgun powder (which provides low recoil and flash) and quality coated polymer bullets as well as FMJ projectiles. Our mission is to provide quality controlled ammunition to be sufficient to meet your shooting needs.

The story behind the name. Reloading ammunition is all about redeeming something the world considers discardable and transforming it into something of renewed value. So it all started with the principle of reclaiming discardable brass to restore new life and purpose to it just like Boaz.

Boaz is found in biblical reference twice. It was the name of the left pillar in the Solomon's temple with a meaning of "in the strength of" or "in Him is strength". It was also most relatable the name of a Judge in the book of Ruth. Where the name Boaz meant quickness or swiftness. He is of the lineage of David, known as the Kinsman Redeemer. His story is a type and shadow for Jesus Christ who redeemed us from our sin. Naomi was married to Elimelech, they had two sons. A great famine in the land motivated their family to relocate to Moab. Ruth and Orpah were Moabite princesses each son married. Elimelech and his two sons passed away, leaving Naomi and two daughters-by-love. Naomi returned from Moab to her homeland, Bethlehem. Ruth and Orpah decided to come with her. In their custom, Naomi was to offer twice for them to return home. While Orpah decided to return, Ruth decided to stay and make the God of Naomi her God. In Bethlehem, Ruth found herself gleaning the discardable in a field belonging to Boaz, a cousin to Naomi's late husband. The tradition of their culture practiced that next of kin in the family had to redeem the widow by marriage. The first person in line, passed on the opportunity and granted Boaz the honor by the tradition of passing a shoe. Because of their marriage, even though not of Jewish heritage, she was grafted into the lineage of David, that later birthed Jesus of Nazareth. It's a true story of redemption, like Jesus reclaiming us gentiles and grafting us into Kingdom Family, taking on our debt of sin and transforming us from lack to exceedingly and abundantly more than we could ask or imagine for ourselves with fresh new identity.

This pretty much relates to the whole process of our business. 2 months after beginning our business model, BOAZ invested in it's first commercial press to produce ammunition with the quick-swiftness of the meaning of it's name.

As for our classic logo was sketched up by my oldest son Cade, and was digitally created by my nieces Claire & Ellis.
